Zaleplon is a nonbenzodiazepine hypnotic from the pyrazolopyrimidine class.
The chemical name of zaleplon is N-[3-(3-cyanopyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidin-7-yl)phenyl]-N-ethylacetamide.
